Stan Kufahl passed away Thurs., January 19, 2012 at Midland Hospice. He was born in Topeka on March 26, 1951, the son of Verle and Dolores (Teske) Kufahl. Stan graduated from Topeka High School in 1969 and attended Washburn University. In 1970 he joined the Kansas National Guard and was married that same year. Stan worked for Goodyear Tire, Cash & Carry and most recently LKQ. He is survived by his parents, Verle and Dolores Kufahl; son, Ryan (Sandie) Kufahl, Topeka; daughter, Trisha (Scott) Crawford, Virginia; grandchildren, Chase and Alex Kufahl, Derek Crawford; brothers, Lyn (Anne) Kufahl, Bruce (Lorie) Kufahl, Brent Kufahl; and extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka KS 66614. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
