Daniel Charay Jr. (Danny)       

December 05, 1950 - May 02, 2023

Daniel Charay Jr. (Danny) 72, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday May 2, 2023. He was at Rolling Hills Health Center under ProMedica Hospice Care after battling cancer.  Danny was born December 5, 1950, the oldest son of Daniel Sr. and Rita (Segura) Charay. He worked at Dillon’s in the produce department for 15 years, and also provided great customer service.                                                              

Danny loved dressing up and wearing all kinds of hats. Danny attended The First Church of God in Christ and he gave his life to Christ six years ago. His passion was preaching the gospel to everybody he met along the way. Danny also volunteered his time in helping the needy in the community by sorting and packing food in boxes.                                                                             

Danny was  preceded in death by his Parents Daniel Sr; and Rita Charay, brother Paul and sister Carolina Esquibel.  Danny is survived by two daughters, Florence (Michelle) Gutierrez and Daniella Charay, sisters, Diana Miller, Loretta King, Virginia Davis, Connie KingCannon, and brother Dale Charay. Danny also has grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives.

Cremation has taken place at Angels Above Cremation Services in Topeka, Ks. Memorial may be at a later time.
