Kathie Kay "Kracker" Jack
1951-2022

Kathie K. Jack, 71, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at a local hospital.

Kathie was born April 17, 1951 in Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Marjorie (Ausherman) Kittrell. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1969 and attended Clarks School of Business.

She was employed by the State of Kansas, Department of Aging, retiring in 2015. She also worked for Bill Metcalf, Attorney at Law.  She enjoyed reading and anything Disney,

Kathie married Ronald Ewing and they later divorced. She married David Jack and he passed in 2000. Survivors include daughter, April Ponton; granddaughter, Kayann Ponton; brother, Jim (Diane) Markley; sister-in-law, Mary (Melvin) Kilgore; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Ronald Ewing; her sister, Julie Jack; and brother, Charles Kittrell, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society.
