PhotoDeborah Lee Hicks, 55, passed on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on November 26, 1951 to Edward J. Hicks and Dorothy Lee Johnson-Hicks in Topeka, Kansas. Her father preceded her in death. She was the Manager for the Jefferson Villas Senior Citizen Housing Complex. She attended Washburn University and Kansas University. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and Musician for 44 years. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Edward Eugene Hicks, Topeka; two daughters, Jerlita Rachelle Howard and Erin Elisha Hicks, Topeka; mother Dorothy Lee Johnson-Hicks, Topeka; one brother, Jonathan Edward Hicks of Topeka, five grandchildren, a host of foster children, niece and nephews. In-Service: Wednesday, April 11; 4-8p.m., Bowser-Johnson Funeral Chapel. Service: Thursday, April 12; 10 a.m.; Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 SE Washington. Deborah Hicks
