Deborah Kay Hinrichs, 68, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 in Topeka.  Debbie was born February 8, 1951 in Topeka, the daughter of Karl and Hildred (Milton) Hinrichs.  She graduated from Topeka High School in 1969 and went on to earn her master's degree from Emporia State in business education.  Debbie worked for the Kansas State Board of Education and taught at Highland Junior College.  Debbie loved animals, especially cats.  She is survived by a brother, Milton (Peggy) Hinrichs and a nephew, Mitchell (Amy) Hinrichs.
