Roger Keith Kipp, 71, of Burlingame, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022.

He was born January 11, 1951, in Topeka, Kansas the son of Kenneth Gerrit and Velma Ruth (Sumner) Kipp. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1969 and received a licensed practical nursing certification through Kaw Valley Technical School in 1984. He then earned a bachelor’s degree from Washburn University in 1998 and later a master’s degree from Washburn in social work in 2000.

Roger married Susan Linemann in 1971; they later divorced. He then married Donna Grauman in 1983. He is survived by his spouse Jodi Bryant of Burlingame; children Aaron Kipp (Pilar) of Topeka, KS, Melissa Kipp of Parsons, KS, Jason Kipp (Crystal) of Cincinnati, OH; stepchildren Nathan Grauman (Renee) of Couer D'Alene, ID, Kelli Boyd of Johnstown, CO, Kristi Grauman of Worden, IL, Dennis Long (Allie) of Bedford, TX, Staci Danielson (BJ) of Gardner, KS, Matt Bullock (Norma) of Stinton, TX, and Clayton Bullock of Burlingame, KS; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Cochrane (Tom) and Brenda Kipp. He was preceded in death by his parents and his late wife Donna.

Roger loved to play his guitars. He also liked to travel, spend time with friends and family, watching movies and decorating for Halloween and Christmas. He made a mean pot of chili and great pancakes.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 12th at West Side Christian Church, 432 SW Lindenwood, Topeka, KS, 66606.
