Larry D. Snepp, 70, passed away Saturday, August 14th, 2021.

Larry was born March 27, 1951, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Charles and Evelyn Oakes.

He was a volunteer fireman and EMT for Soldier Township, then a licensed insurance agent.  Larry was an Equipment Engineer at Goodyear when he retired in 2014 after 43 years of service.

Larry met his best friend and love of his life, Susan, and they were married in July 1982.  They were married 39 years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Oakes, Dean and Evelyn (Harris) Snepp, a sister, Charlene Hardesty and a brother, Richard Lindsay.

Larry will be remembered, celebrated and deeply missed by his wife Susan; children, Dave Frederick (Greg Fox), Topeka, Dana (Teresa) Frederick, Springfield, MO, and Megan (Kyle) DeForest, Edmond, OK.  He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Caden, Lillian, Ridley and Rhyley, whom he loved with all of his heart: brothers Terry (Rachel) Snepp, Dean (Shanan) Snepp and sister Becky (Terry) Poe and sister-in-law Becky Lindsay and many nieces and nephews.

His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with never a complaint.

Honoring his request, no funeral service will be held.  A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
